Data for this map was obtained from the Hellenic Statistical Authority at following link and translated using Google Translate:

The Greece administrative areas boundary files were downloaded as shapefiles from the GADM website:

http://www.gadm.org/

The attribute table was then edited with Quantum GIS to add the unemployment data. This was entered manually as there is no exact match between the names in the shapefile and the names in the report containing the data. No data for the "Ayion Oros" region was available, so this area is shown on the map as black.
