Local Amenities = This composite considers national heritage sites per 1000 sq m*, cultural amenities per 1000 sq m* and the proportion of employment in hotels and restaurants*, retail floorspace (000sqm), green flag awards, number of sports arenas. Each these indicators were indexed to the GB Average, and then averaged; AVERAGE ((national heritage sites per 1000 sq m/GB Average national heritage sites per 1000 sq m)*100)+((cultural amenities per 1000 sq m/GB Average cultural amenities per 1000 sq m)*100)*+((proportion of employment in hotels and restaurants/GB Average proportion of employment in hotels and restaurants))*100 + ((number of sports arenas/GB Average)*100) + ((retail floorspace in 000sqm/GB Average retail floorspace)*100) + ((Green flag awrads/national average)*100)).
